Comprehensive Protection
for Remote Adventures
Every policy is designed to meet expedition operator requirements. No gaps, no surprises, no denied claims.
Coverage Categories
Our policies include all essential coverages required by expedition operators, with limits that actually protect you.
Emergency Medical Evacuation
Get to the nearest hospital fast — by helicopter, air ambulance, or whatever it takes.
- Helicopter extraction from remote sites
- Dedicated medical escort en route
- Repatriation to your home country
- Local emergency service coordination
Why it matters: A medical evacuation from Antarctica can cost $150,000-$300,000. Standard policies cap at $50,000.
Trip Cancellation
Get your money back if you have to cancel before departure for a covered reason.
- Illness or injury, including COVID-19
- Death of an immediate family member
- Jury duty or legal obligations
- Natural disasters or operator bankruptcy
Why it matters: Expedition trips often cost $15,000-$50,000+ with substantial non-refundable deposits.
Trip Interruption
Get reimbursed for the unused portion of your trip and the cost of getting home.
- Unused prepaid trip expenses
- Emergency return transportation
- Additional accommodation costs
- Rebooking and change fees
Why it matters: If you're evacuated mid-expedition, you lose the remainder of a trip that may cost $1,000+ per day.
Medical Expense
Covers emergency medical treatment, hospital stays, and physician services while traveling.
- Emergency room visits
- Hospital stays and surgery
- Prescription medications
- Dental emergencies
Why it matters: Your domestic health insurance typically won't cover you in international waters or remote territories.
Travel Delay
Reimburses additional expenses when your trip is delayed due to covered events.
- Hotel accommodations
- Meals and transportation
- Missed cruise connection costs
- Alternative travel arrangements
Why it matters: Weather delays in polar regions are common. Missing your ship means expensive catch-up flights.
Baggage & Personal Effects
Covers loss, theft, or damage to your luggage and personal belongings.
- Lost or stolen luggage
- Damaged personal items
- Essential item replacement
- Delayed baggage expenses
Why it matters: Expedition gear (parkas, boots, camera equipment) can easily exceed $5,000 in value.
