Who we are

Expedition Insure is a brand of Unsold Antarctica LLC. We are a travel retailer: we arrange expedition travel, and we offer travel insurance as a service to our customers.

We are not an insurance company, and we are not a licensed insurance producer. We offer and disseminate travel insurance on behalf of, and under the direction of, the licensed insurance producer for each plan we show you. The insurer carries the risk and pays the claims.

Who insures you, and who is licensed

For the Arch RoamRight plans we offer:

• Licensed travel insurance producer: Arch Insurance Solutions Inc., CA License #0I18111, TX License #1787195. Reachable on 1-877-722-1959.
• Insurer: Arch Insurance Company, NAIC #11150, under policy series LTP 2013 and amendments thereto.

For plans from other carriers we offer, the insurer and the licensed producer responsible for the plan are named in the plan documents and confirmation we send you. You can also see every carrier we work with on our carriers page.

Buying insurance is optional

Purchasing travel insurance is not required in order to purchase any other product or service from us. You are free to buy a plan elsewhere, or not to buy one at all.

What we can and cannot answer

We can:

• Give you general information about a plan, including a description of the coverage and the price.
• Send you the plan documents and the summary of coverage.
• Help you complete an application and collect your premium.
• Pass a coverage question to the insurer or its licensed producer on your behalf.

We are not authorised to:

• Answer technical questions about the benefits, exclusions or conditions of a plan.
• Tell you whether a plan duplicates or overlaps insurance you already hold.
• Hold ourselves out as a licensed insurance producer or an insurance expert.

Those questions go to the insurer or its licensed producer, using the contact details above and in your plan documents. We will always pass a question on rather than guess at the answer.

We also recommend that you compare any plan against insurance you already hold, including credit card, health and home cover, to check for duplicate coverage before you buy.

Your policy is the contract

Coverage descriptions, comparison tables and plan summaries on this site are summaries for guidance only. They do not amend or revise any policy. Your policy is the contract that specifically and fully describes your coverage. Certain terms, conditions, restrictions and exclusions apply, and coverage varies in certain states. Please refer to your policy for the detailed terms and conditions.
